Akim Aliu

Akim Aliu is a proud supporter of Be The Game™ and its vision, mission and goals to promote the power of sport and the children who need financial assistance in order to have this opportuntity. Currently chasing his dream with the NEWLY returned Winnipeg Jets organization. Akim was drafted in 2007 in the second round by the Chicago Blackhawks, 56th overall.

I started hockey at a very late age when I moved to Canada from Russia so it was also difficult for my parents to get me involved into hockey, so I'm very glad to be part of this cause!"
